Students at Virginia Tech have a plethora of opportunities to study abroad in both English speaking and non-English speaking countries. You can search for programs by using the map below, by program type (see below), by a basic Search, or an Advanced Search.

Recommended for in-state students who want to study at locations not offered by VT-sponsored programs.

Similar to the Bilateral Exchange, except that students from across the US (not just Tech) exchange places with students from around the world.

Non-VT organizations that assist US students to go abroad in various locations and on various programs, such as AIFS, Arcadia, AustraLearn, CEA, DIS, IES, Butler, ISA, SFS, SIT.

Service Learning

Recommended for students who want a service oriented international experience.
Hands on international volunteer programs, usually in the summer or at the end of a semester for 2-4 weeks.
