Students at Virginia Tech have a plethora of opportunities to study abroad in both English speaking and non-English speaking countries. You can search for programs by using the map below, by program type (see below), by a basic Search, or an Advanced Search.

Similar to the Bilateral Exchange, except that students from across the US (not just Tech) exchange places with students from around the world.

Service Learning

Recommended for students who want a service oriented international experience.
Hands on international volunteer programs, usually in the summer or at the end of a semester for 2-4 weeks.

Pre-Departure Orientation
We are holding this semester’s Pre-Departure Orientation on April 22, 2014, 6:30-9PM in Surge 104B. Check-in will begin at 6PM. Students participating on non-VT/non-faculty-led programs are required to attend this MANDATORY orientation.

First time leading a program? Leading or coordinating a program that takes place this upcoming summer or fall? Join us for the Program Leader Pre-Departure Orientation this Friday, April 25, 9AM-12PM in the Great Room of Ambler Johnston Hall.

2014 Education Abroad Photo Contest Gallery Exhibit
Thank you for sending us over 280 photos for this year's Education Abroad Photo Contest! We've narrowed it down to the 18 finalists. The finalists and all the submissions will be featured in a Photo Gallery Exhibit at the XYZ Gallery in downtown Blacksburg from April 14-27. Be sure to like your favorites on our Facebook Page.
