    Students participating in bilateral exchange, non-VT, and third party provider programs (programs that are not faculty-led) must attend the mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 7-9PM. Check-in begins at 6:30PM.

Global Education 2015 Photo Contest Now Open for Submissions
Share your international experience with the Hokie community by entering photos in the 2015 Global Education Photo Contest! All entries and photos must be received no later than Wednesday, April 15 at noon. For contest guidelines, please visit the Global Education Office website or contact with questions.

University Travel Policy Regarding Countries with CDC Travel Warnings
President Timothy Sands has issued Presidential Policy Memorandum No. 288, effective immediately, that prohibits employees and students on university business from travelling to countries where the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued Warning Level 3 Travel Warnings.

U.S. State Department issues Worldwide Caution Notice
The United States issued a global travel warning after recent terror attacks in France, Australia and Canada. U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to maintain a high level of vigilance, be aware of local events, and take the appropriate steps to bolster their personal security.
